We choose products and suppliers who share our ethos to reduce unnecessary packaging, in fact, we even ask our suppliers to demonstrate their best efforts in a solidarity campaign to lessen waste. We also look for packaging that is biodegradable, compostable, reusable or recyclable.

A company decision to use only high-quality products makes our mandate to reduce waste simpler to sustain because products that have good composition also have good longevity; they’re there for the long term. They don’t generally need replacement parts and are often made from eco-friendly components.

Our promise to do our best on environmental issues is reflected in our practice of using ozone-friendly refrigerant; offering sustainable methods of heating, cooling and ventilating using minimal energy consumption; installing solar panel systems; advising clients to consider add-on upgrades rather than full replacements; recommending LED lighting; promoting heat pumps over log burners; using New Zealand-made products, and a myriad of other endeavours we are proud to pursue.
